Bryce Harper (knee) placed on the 10-day DL by the Nationsls
Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper (knee) has been placed on the 10-day DL with a bone bruise in his left knee.
Fortunately for the Nats and Harper, an MRI showed no ligament damage after a scary fall on Saturday. However, the superstar will remain out of the lineup until mid-September at the earliest. He is expected back before the regular season ends, though.
Harper is slashing .326/419/.614 with a .425 wOBA, 29 home runs, 87 RBI, and 92 runs scored in 472 plate appearances this season.
