10. Myles Turner, Indiana Pacers (2015-16)

Of the three we mentioned at the start, only Turner measures up among the very best teenage seasons. In his rookie season in 2015-16, the Indiana Pacers' first-round pick accounted for .109 win shares per 48 minutes across 60 games and 22.8 minutes a contest.

After starting the season rather quietly, Turner missed a number of games due to injury. However, he more than made up for it with some great play over the last 50 regular-season games and into the Pacers' brief playoff appearance.

In the regular season, the former Texas Longhorn averaged 10.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.4 blocks while shooting 49.8% from the field. He tallied four double-doubles and 11 games of at least three blocks.

In seven playoff games, Turner scored in double figures on four occasions while averaging 10.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and an outstanding 3.3 blocks per game. His shot-blocking ability put him into a tie for his team's second-best defensive rating (101) and defensive box plus-minus (1.4).
