T4. Los Angeles Lakers, 2015-16

nERD: 18.7

In line with the decline of Kobe Bryant's career, the Los Angeles Lakers' franchise did the same. After 2012, Kobe's body and game started to deteriorate, and with that the Lakers' win totals steadily decreased. In 2015, Kobe's last season, they bottomed out at 17 wins, the lowest in franchise history.

Outside of Bryant and an aging Metta World Peace, the Lakers were full of youth. On their roster, they had four rookies and three others in their second NBA season. Among all team members, Lou Williams was the best. He earned 4.7 win shares, compared to Bryant's mark of -0.4.

Knowing that, there's no possible way the Lakers were in for a rebound year that season. Their offense was 4.8 points below the league's average offensive rating, but their defense was pitiful. They finished the year with a league-worst defensive rating of 111.6, which was 5.2 points below the NBA average.
