NBA Market Share Report: Riding Nikola Vucevic in a Contract Year
Milwaukee's Best Light
Most things are going right so far in Milwaukee this season: Giannis, open shots, one of the best records (16-7) in the league. And as a result of that, Bucks players are standing out as reliable and efficient fantasy scorers.
Beyond the Freak doing things we’d normally expect to see from him, the recent run by the Bucks back court is paying dividends when made part of your daily fantasy lineups.
Malcolm Brogdon -- who is one of the easiest guys to root for and typically a subtle-producing assassin -- has now gone for at least six-times value in five of his last six games, all while counting an average of just $5,600 against the cap. His versatility leads to solid production across the sheet and he’s scoring at a crazy efficient clip to start the season.
Running alongside Brogdon is the more sporadic Eric Bledsoe, who sets you back a little more in terms of cost ($7,283 over the same six-game span) but typically offers higher upside, having eclipsed 43 FanDuel points in three of his last six games. His stat-stuffing capabilities make him a threatening lineup choice and his scoring is the type that can land you some nice paydays in tournament formats.
There’s plenty to love about rostering Giannis and giving yourself a legitimate chance at 60+ fantasy points on any given night, but sometimes that move isn’t always attainable or in the best interest of strategy. The guards in Milwaukee meanwhile can provide a solid floor with some pop on most nights, and both are offering great value at the moment.
The Bucks face the Golden State Warriors tonight, followed by the Raptors, Cavaliers, and Pacers next week.
