Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (hip) ruled out Sunday for Thunder
Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (hip) is ruled out Sunday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Gilgeous-Alexander was a game-time call for the contest, but the Thunder will unsurprisingly hold him out on the second leg of a back-to-back. Tre Mann will fill the void in the starting backcourt on Sunday night. Josh Giddey, Lu Dort, and Kenrich Williams will also take on larger roles. Gilgeous-Alexander is the only Thunder player with a usage rate above 30 percent so far this season. His next opportunity to play will be on Tuesday versus the Los Angeles Clippers.
Mann has a $4,000 salary on Sunday and numberFire's models project him to score 21.2 FanDuel points over 25.3 minutes. Giddey has a $6,800 salary and is our second-best point-per-dollar value among all players on the Main slate.
