Chris Paul (hip) staying out Thursday for Suns
Phoenix Suns point guard Chris Paul (hip) has been ruled out for Thursday versus the Brooklyn Nets.
Paul has been downgraded from questionable and will miss a sixth straight game. He went through a full practice on Wednesday, so Paul might have a decent chance at returning for Saturday's game against the Indiana Pacers. Landry Shamet (foot) has also been ruled out against the Nets, so Duane Washington Jr. will likely enter the starting lineup.
Washington has a 30.0% usage rate as a starter this season and is averaging 20.9 FanDuel points in 24.9 minutes per game. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Suns’ implied total (109.75) and the game over/under (221.0) are both the lowest on the board Thursday.
