Anfernee Simons (foot) sidelined Monday for Trail Blazers versus Pelicans
Portland Trail Blazers shooting guard Anfernee Simons (right foot soreness) is out again Monday versus the New Orleans Pelicans.
Simons will miss a fourth straight game as the Trail Blazers pack it in for the season. Damian Lillard (calf), Jerami Grant (quad), and Jusuf Nurkic (knee) will also remain out, while Trendon Watford (ankle) is expected to join them on the sidelines. Ryan Arcidiacono and Shaedon Sharpe are in line to start in the Trail Blazers' backcourt again on Monday night. Nassir Little, Keon Johnson, Matisse Thybulle, Jabari Walker, and Cam Reddish (back, probable) will continue to have additional opportunities on offense.
Sharpe has a $7,200 salary on Monday's eight-game slate and is projected for 28.9 FanDuel points over 37.8 minutes. Per numberFire's NBA Heat Map, the Blazers' implied total (107.75) is tied with the Detroit Pistons for lowest out of the 16 active teams today.
