Zach Collins (ankle) expected to suit up Friday for Spurs
San Antonio Spurs forward/center Zach Collins (ankle) is expected to play on Friday against the New Orleans Pelicans, according to Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News.
Collins is still listed as questionable, but he's trending toward returning from a three-game absence. Cedi Osman, Dominick Barlow, and Doug McDermott will have fewer minutes available with Collins active. The Spurs play again on Saturday, so they might hold Collins out for the second leg of the back-to-back.
numberFire's models project Collins for 17.9 minutes and 19.0 FanDuel points on Friday. Per numberFire's NBA Heat Map, the Spurs' implied total (112.75) is No. 13 out of 18 teams on the Main slate.
