Ben Simmons (injury maintenance) sidelined Tuesday for Nets
Brooklyn Nets guard/forward Ben Simmons (injury maintenance) is out for Tuesday's game against the Orlando Magic.
Simmons played 14 minutes on Monday night and didn't suffer a setback, but he still hasn't been cleared to play in both legs of back-to-backs. Dennis Schroder will likely draw another start after scoring 18 points with 2 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 three-pointers in 26 minutes on Monday. Cam Thomas has also been ruled out after leaving early Monday with an ankle injury, so the Nets will be missing two players from their backcourt against the Magic.
Schroder scored 23.9 FanDuel points as a starter on Monday. The Magic are allowing the third-most points per game to the point guard position. Per numberFire's NBA Heat Map, the Nets have one of the lowest implied totals (102.25) out of 22 active teams today.
