Spurs' Zach Collins in concussion protocol, officially out Tuesday
San Antonio Spurs forward/center Zach Collins (concussion protocol) is out for Tuesday's game versus the Dallas Mavericks.
Collins will miss at least one contest while going through the NBA concussion protocol. The Spurs recalled Dominick Barlow from the G League for Tuesday's contest, so he might be tasked with taking on the bulk of Collins' minutes. Sandro Mamukelashvili and Cedi Osman could also be in the mix.
Barlow is averaging 17.9 minutes and 19.5 FanDuel points across 12 games without Collins this season. Osman is averaging 19.3 minutes and 17.1 FanDuel points per game when Collins is inactive. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Spurs' implied total (112.25) is third-best out of 10 teams on the Main slate, while the game total (233.5) is the highest of the day.
