Kidd: Dereck Lively II (knee) 'ready to roll' for Saturday's Game 1 contest
According to head coach Jason Kidd, Dallas Mavericks center Dereck Lively II (knee) is on track to play in Saturday's Game 1 contest against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Per Kidd, “everything is trending in the right direction” after Lively was able to practice well this week. Expect the Mavericks' rookie to play backup role behind Daniel Gafford on Saturday.
In 673 minutes with the Mavericks' current rotation, Lively is averaging 1.0 FanDuel point per minute and a 12.7% usage rate.
