Clippers' Chris Paul (thumb) undergoes successful surgery
Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul underwent successful surgery for his thumb on Wednesday, and is expected to miss six-to-eight weeks as he recovers.
That's the original timeframe that was reported when the surgery was announced, so no surprise there. Look for Raymond Felton and Austin Rivers to see big increases in their roles until Paul is back.
Missing Paul is likely going to be a big blow for the Clippers. His 8.7 nERD on the season is best on the team and ranks sixth in the NBA.
