Clippers' Patrick Beverley out for the season after undergoing knee surgery

Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley (knee surgery) will miss the rest of the season.

What It Means:

Beverley's right knee surgery required a repair of a microfracture and meniscus, so he has a long recovery ahead of him. Sindarius Thornwell will likely remain in the starting lineup, with Lou Williams and Austin Rivers seeing all the minutes they can handle.

Over 11 games, Beverley averaged 12.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 30.4 minutes.
