Hawks' John Collins (shoulder) expected to miss 2-to-3 weeks
Atlanta Hawks power forward/center John Collins has been diagnosed with a sprained AC joint and is expected to miss 2-to-3 weeks, according to The Vertical's Shams Charania.
Collins suffered an injury to his left shoulder on Thursday night and was seen leaving the arena in a sling. His absence will leave the Hawks thin in the frontcourt with Dewayne Dedmon (leg) also out for an extended time. Luke Babbitt, Deandre Bembry, Ersan Ilyasova and Miles Plumlee will be asked to lead the minutes at power forward and center.
numberFire's models project Collins to average 19.2 minutes, 8.7 points and 7.0 rebounds per game over the remainder of the season for Atlanta.
