Brad Stevens again says Gordon Hayward (ankle) won't play this season

Boston Celtics coach Brad Stevens reiterated again that forward Gordon Hayward won't play this season.

What It Means:

According to BostonSportsJournal.com's Brian Robb, Stevens was "definitive" in saying that the All-Star forward wouldn't play again. Rumors have been flying, but the Celtics have maintained their stance that they don't expect him back.

In Hayward's All-Star season a year ago, he averaged 21.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game in 73 games.
