Louisville's Quentin Snider will not return until mid-February

Louisville Cardinals junior guard Quentin Snider is targeting February 11 as the return date from a hip flexor injury, according to Jeff Greer of the Courier-Journal.

What It Means:

Snider has been out since January 14 with the injury and is already past the initial two-to-three week timetable. Head coach Rick Pitino also noted the February 11 date was more a possibility than a probability at this point. Either way, Snider will miss at least two more games. With backup Tony Hicks also out with an injury, Donovan Mitchell has stepped up his offensive game lately, averaging 28.5 points in his last two games.

The Cardinals will have their hands full on Monday versus the ninth-ranked Virginia Cavaliers without Snider. The Cavs beat the Cards 61-53 the last time the two teams played in late December.
