Luck has definitely trailed off since posting 127.28 NEP in 2014-15. In just 18 total games since then, the 27-year-old has 109.34 NEP. Whether it's due to injuries, a Swiss cheese offensive line or lack of a running game, Luck hasn't played up to the early expectations.

His career NEP of 408.64 is nearly 200 less than Wilson's total, so he falls from number one to number two, as a result. And with all the injuries, let's not even get into the per-year breakdown.

As I alluded to, Luck's best performance was two seasons ago. That was better than all but one of Wilson's seasons in terms of NEP. Even if we move to a different stat, like passer rating, we find that Luck is still worse in comparison. His career rating of 86.3 is far behind Wilson's and his career-high of 96.5 falls just short of 100.

If given the opportunity, there's no doubt the Cleveland Browns would've jumped on Luck at number two. Would he have liked it any better? Probably not. As we've seen, the Browns still have offensive line issues, and not up until recently have they added any skill talent.
