DraftKings Daily Fantasy Football Helper for Week 15
Running Backs
High-Cost Option: LeSean McCoy ($8,900)
If you're paying up for a stud running back, there's a case to be made for LeSean McCoy as the one to roster. McCoy takes on a struggling Cleveland Browns squad that's giving up the second-most rushing yards, third-most rushing touchdowns, and third-most fantasy points to opposing running backs.
The Browns have allowed a combined 86-386-2 on the ground to their last three opponents and could see those numbers skyrocket against McCoy with the Bills being 10.5-point home favorites. McCoy has averaged 21 touches per game over his last three, averaging 28.1 fantasy points.
Mid-Cost Option: Devonta Freeman ($6,700)
As 14-point home favorites, Devonta Freeman is entering an ideal situation with the Falcons we should be targeting. San Francisco is giving up the most rushing touchdowns, rushing yards, and fantasy points. The 49ers are also allowing the most red zone trips to opposing offenses and they rank dead last in our schedule-adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP.
Excluding last week, Freeman has averaged 17.2 touches over his last five games, scoring six total touchdowns over that span. He makes for a fantastic cash and GPP play this week.
Low-Cost Option: Kenneth Farrow ($4,400)
After the San Diego Chargers lost Danny Woodhead to injury in Week 2, Melvin Gordon took over the lead back role, accruing over 25 touches per game and 10 total scores. It's highly unlikely we see Gordon suit up this week, leaving Kenneth Farrow in a prime situation to take over against the Raiders.
Oakland is allowing the third-most rushing yards and eighth-most fantasy points to opposing running backs. Farrow is an undrafted rookie from Houston that boasts 4.59 40-yard dash speed, and we saw that the Chargers coaching staff wasn't afraid to turn to him -- he had 16 carries and was targeted six times in the passing game.
We can reasonably expect a similar workload for Farrow with just Ronnie Hillman behind him on the depth chart.
Other Options: David Johnson ($10,100), DeMarco Murray ($6,900), Carlos Hyde ($5,900), Latavius Murray ($5,800), Tevin Coleman ($5,000), LeGarrette Blount ($5,000), T.J. Yeldon ($4,100)
