DraftKings Daily Fantasy Football Helper for Week 15
Wide Receivers
High-Cost Option: Mike Evans ($8,300)
The top options aren't in a ton of great matchups, making Mike Evans the top play to pursue almost by default. Evans is clearly in the best situation of the big-four wideouts, taking on a Dallas Cowboys defense giving up the third-most receptions, sixth-most receiving yards, and seventh-most fantasy points.
He draws a matchup on the outside against Brandon Carr, which shouldn't draw much concern for Evans owners. Carr is allowing 0.28 fantasy points per route defended and Evans has been playing lights out, leading all receivers in Reception NEP this season.
Averaging 11.2 targets and 20.5 fantasy points per game, Evans is in a great spot to increase those numbers as a safe cash and GPP play.
Mid-Cost Option: Stefon Diggs ($6,200)
Over the last two months, we've seen a massive shift in Stefon Diggs' usage in the Minnesota Vikings offense. After picking up 42 targets between Weeks 8-10, he has just 20 targets over his last three games.
The Indianapolis Colts have struggled defending slot receivers with Darius Butler giving up 0.31 fantasy points per route defended. Avoiding Vontae Davis' coverage is a big plus to Diggs' potential upside, where he should dominate attacking the center of this Colts defense.
Indianapolis ranks 26th in Pass DVOA, but ranks 31st against opposing team’s WR1s. Diggs could end up being a massive value play, priced at just $6,200.
Low-Cost Option: Jordan Matthews ($5,400)
The Baltimore Ravens have been susceptible to slot receivers for much of the season, leaving Jordan Matthews in a great spot. He's had at least 10 targets in 5 of the past 7 games. He’ll run most of his routes against slot corner Jerraud Powers, who’s allowing 0.30 fantasy points per route defended and ranks as ProFootballFocus‘ 85th-ranked corner.
Matthews also leads the Philadelphia Eagles in red zone touchdowns this season.
Other Options: Jordy Nelson ($7,300), Emmanuel Sanders ($6,600), Brandin Cooks ($6,200), Michael Crabtree ($5,900), Dontrelle Inman ($5,100), Mike Wallace ($5,000), Mohamed Sanu ($4,900) J.J. Nelson ($3,900)
