Assessing the Biggest Weakness of Each 2016 NFL Playoff Team

Green Bay Packers: Secondary

The Green Bay Packers' secondary is largely only a weakness due to the grotesque impact of the injuries various assets have suffered. Still, it's not a unit that will aid them in the postseason, and it's pretty clearly their biggest question mark.

The Packers finished the year ranked 23rd in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play. The reason we can narrow this down to the secondary is that they had the fourth-best Sack NEP per drop back mark in the league. This wasn't on the pass-rush at all; when the ball left the quarterback's hand, things didn't exactly go swimmingly.

Luckily for the Packers -- and as mentioned earlier -- their first-round opponents in the Giants aren't basking in sauciness through the air. It'll be tough to limit Odell Beckham, but if they can simply prevent him from going bonkers, the Packers' defense should be good enough to give them the upper hand.
