8 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 2
Paul Richardson, WR, Seattle Seahawks
Paul Richardson's seven targets in Week 1 were not only tied for a team high, but they were also three more than any other Seattle Seahawks wide receiver saw -- and he played only two fewer snaps than Doug Baldwin. He also led the team with a 35% market share of their air yards, ranking 17th in the NFL.
The Seattle offense struggled against the Green Bay Packers, but they draw a significantly better matchup this week against the San Francisco 49ers.
The 49ers finished 26th in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play in 2016, and they allowed Cam Newton to post a 0.23 Passing NEP per drop back in Week 1 -- the seventh-highest mark among quarterbacks with at least five drop backs.
Seattle's 28-point implied total is also the week's fourth-highest mark, making this is a good spot for Richardson's volume to translate into fantasy scoring.
