Chris Thompson has turned in a very productive season so far, scoring at least 13.5 FanDuel points in all but one game and ranking eighth among all running backs with 16.2 FD points per game on the season.

His volume has also been trending upwards recently. He has played 61% and 58% of Washington's offensive snaps, respectively, in their last two games, garnering 23 carries and 10 targets in that time.

This week's matchup against the Dallas Cowboys isn't anything special, with Dallas sitting in the middle of the pack in fantasy points allowed to running backs, but getting a top-10 fantasy producer with a price tag this low is appealing in almost any matchup, especially with increasing volume like Thompson has seen lately.
