Fantasy Football Quarterback Streaming Week 11: Believing in Blake Bortles

Something I learned in journalism school -- when you have a chance to write an article saying positive things about the football abilities of both Blake Bortles and Jay Cutler, you jump on it.

So, speaking of terrifying-to-trust quarterbacks in a good spot this week, we have Cutler at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Bucs have been getting torched this season by opposing passing games, allowing the eighth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks and the fourth-most to wide receivers.

Cutler is Cutler, but he's already shown he can deliver in a nice matchup. Facing the similarly-porous pass defense of the Oakland Raiders in Week 9, Cutler came through with 24.44 fantasy points, finishing as the QB5 for the week.

As a boost, the Miami Dolphins' passing-game weapons are rounding into form. DeVante Parker now has two full games under his belt since returning from injury, averaging 5.5 catches and 71 yards per contests over the last two weeks. Julius Thomas has woken up from his Rip Van Winkle-like nap to score a touchdown in each of the last two weeks, and Jarvis Landry has already tied his previous career high with five touchdowns.

Miami's 19.25-point implied total is not fun, but Cutler checks in as our 21-st ranked quarterback, putting him on the streaming radar and making him a respectable play in two-quarterback formats.
