4 DraftKings Studs to Target in Week 7
Jarvis Landry, WR, Cleveland Browns
DraftKings Price: $7,300
Projected Points: 17.4
The Cleveland Browns are traveling to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in what appears to be a phenomenal matchup for the Browns. While their 23.25 implied total leaves us yearning for more, there are a few individual matchups that are tantalizing. Jarvis Landry against the Bucs' secondary is one of them.
The Buccaneers are giving up 109.2 yards per game to wide receivers running routes from the slot. This stems from a nice five-game sample where opposing slot receivers have accumulated 546 yards from the position. This is the second-most in the NFL and Landry -- in the slot on 10.5% of snaps -- is a target monster for rookie quarterback, Baker Mayfield.
Landry has a 26% target market share and has caught 32% of the team's receiving touchdowns. Only DeAndre Hopkins averages more targets per game (11) than Landry (10) and Adam Thielen (10). He surprisingly has the highest red zone opportunities rate per game on the main slate as well (1.65). He's getting peppered up and down the field and in the red zone.
He's in an elite spot against a defense giving up 33.4 points per game (last in the NFL) and 355.6 passing yards per game (last in the NFL) to opposing offenses. While he is the fourth-highest priced wide receiver on the main slate, his floor and ceiling could lead to massive returns.
