Kyle Rudolph, TE, Minnesota Vikings

Yahoo Ownership: 79%

Unlike Kenyan Drake, Kyle Rudolph is actually getting on the field. Unfortunately, he -- like Drake -- is an afterthought in his offense.

Since the Minnesota Vikings' bye, Rudolph has averaged 4.6 targets, 3.4 receptions and 28.8 receiving yards per game. He hasn't found the end zone since all the way back in Week 3. He's been a red zone monster with Sam Bradford and Case Keenum in the past, but Kirk Cousins has not used him like that at all in 2018.

I know finding a good tight end is incredibly difficult, but Rudolph barely offers any upside (and you'll need plenty of that if you hope to take your league's title). His floor has been reliable but entirely unimpressive, having topped 50 receiving yards just once in the last 10 games. That's just not going to get the job done.

His volume has been weak, but so is his Week 16 matchup against the Detroit Lions. Despite fielding an overall soft defense, the Lions are stingy against opposing tight ends and have only allowed 8.2 fantasy points per game to the position. It's clear that you shouldn't start him, which means you should drop him at this point.

We didn't get what we were hoping for out of Rudolph all year, so don't make the mistake of rostering him in Week 16.
