There are plenty of experts who doubt Rashad Jennings, but I think he's an excellent pick in the fourth round of a standard draft. The Giants' running back can produce as a runner (seventh in Rushing NEP among 100-plus carry backs) and a receiver, and that will keep him on the field ahead of the very limited Andre Williams this year.
The presence of two Arizona wide receivers in the fourth round brings up an interesting question as well. Are we underrating Carson Palmer this season? Or are we choosing between two receivers knowing one is set to fail? It would seem unlikely that Palmer would finishing outside of the top-12 if he's the trigger man behind an offense with two top-25 fantasy wideouts, so which player in this trio are we wrong about?
Michael Floyd finished with more Reception NEP on fewer receptions and targets than Larry Fitzgerald last season, so perhaps a changing of the guard will happen this year, and Jordan's pick of Floyd will prove to be a much better value.
My pick: Shane Vereen, New England Patriots, RB - Stevan Ridley has already started fumbling again this preseason, so I'm going to confidently take Vereen in any format as the most likely Patriots receiver to see the field under the fumble-averse Bill Belichick. Ridley goes around 64 touches between fumbles on average, while Vereen goes 88 touches without coughing up the ball, and has only done so twice in his career. He isn't the most durable player in the NFL, but if he plays, he's the best option in the Patriots backfield.
