Don't Start These 8 Players in Week 4
Rashad Jennings, RB, New York Giants
If this was a radio station, it would seem like we're getting a few replays here on KSIT "Sit 'Em Radio". Rashad Jennings of the New York Giants is another one of our returning featured artists, and hopefully you guys will remember the refrain to his song: the Giants' offense is really bad (27th in Adjusted Offensive NEP) and Jennings is the one part of that unit that is working.
Jennings will continue to be targeted and game planned out by opposing defenses until the Giants turn this passing game around. You may see the 23 standard fantasy points he scored last week against Houston and think I'm crazy, but the last time this column recommended you bench Jennings was Week 2 against the formidable Arizona Cardinals defense. That week, he scored just 8 fantasy points, rushing for just 64 yards on 18 attempts.
Making things worse, this week he goes up against a Washington defensive unit that currently ranks first in Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP and limited the Eagles' LeSean McCoy to 22 yards on 19 attempts in Week 3. Terrible offense plus terrible matchup means that Rashad Jennings is a guy to bench in Week 4; "This I Promise You".
