Ryan Tannehill, QB, Miami Dolphins

With rumors of the Miami coaching staff considering benching Ryan Tannehill (for who? Matt Moore?), that's going to make for an extraordinarily awkward intercontinental flight when the Dolphins make their way to London to play the Oakland Raiders this week. It also adds to an extremely awkward decision for you when setting your lineups.

Tannehill currently sits as our second-worst quarterback in Total NEP, just ahead of now-benched Chad Henne of the Jaguars. His passing value has been atrocious, any signs that his athleticism and rushing ability could add to his game are nonexistent, and his offense has been performing pretty horribly in general (ranked 29th in the NFL). When we consider this new turmoil, where the head coach who has been trying to fit an athletic square peg into a pocket-passing round hole for years (hello Jay Gruden and Robert Griffin III!) now says his franchise quarterback might be a bust, I don't think the biggest problem in Miami was the offseason drama or the quarterback's maturity.

I'm trying to avoid starting anyone in Miami's passing game until things sort themselves out. Add in that the atrocious Miami passing game goes up against the even-average Oakland defense, and it's going to be "Anarchy in the UK" (not an 'N SYNC reference) and in Tannehill's backfield all day.
