Don't Start These 8 Players in Week 4
Travis Kelce, TE, Kansas City Chiefs
Everyone is extremely excited about Chiefs' sophomore tight end Travis Kelce and his budding breakout, but this is one week where that is going to falter. Consider that, despite Kelce being the leading receiver for Kansas City this season, he's only received an average of five targets per game to this point. He scored eight points in Week 2 and nine in Week 3, but with very limited opportunities, it's hard to expect him to break off massive plays every time he touches the ball.
New England has also been extremely stingy against tight ends this year (and historically), allowing the third-least fantasy points to opposing tight ends in 2014. An athletic linebacking corps and strong secondary will prevent Kelce from huge gains this week, despite quarterback Alex Smith and head coach Andy Reid's penchants for using the tight end. If Kelce gets major points, it will be on volume and perhaps a touchdown or two, but I don't expect those scenarios. Options get slimmer every week at the volatile tight end position, but Kelce is one to avoid for Week 4.
