Brandon Coleman, New Orleans Saints
ESPN Ownership: 9.6%
ADP: 153 (13.01)
Named the MVP of Saints training camp by head coach Sean Payton, Brandon Coleman has landed himself in what looks to be a lucrative role as the number three wideout in New Orleans.
As I wrote previously, the second and third wide receiver on the Saints have shared an average of 135 targets per season over the last three years, and with the Saints coaching staff likely looking to cut down the role Marques Colston will play on this team this season, there's a good chance Coleman takes hold of the majority of these looks.
Beyond this, the departures of Jimmy Graham and Kenny Stills also opens up the 200 targets these two pass catchers have averaged over the past two seasons, and there's only so many targets number one wideout Brandin Cooks can take.
Finally, with his towering 6'6", 225-pound frame and knack for the big play -- during his three-year career at Rutgers, Coleman averaged a touchdown once every 4.7 catches and had a 19.2 yards per reception average -- Coleman could also replace Graham as the team's big red zone threat.
On this balance sheet alone, it's clear that the opportunity is there for Coleman to put up some nice numbers for his team this season and is exactly why owners should pay very close attention to him this year.
