7 FanDuel Bargains to Target in Week 1
Kendall Wright ($5,800)
The Titans may not score a lot of points this weekend (Vegas projects them a paltry total of 19.5), but where Kendall Wright offers value is in the volume he will see against a poor Tampa Bay pass defense that finished 2014 ranked 31st in schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play, giving up the third most fantasy points to wide receivers.
Since Wright came into the league in 2012, he has led Titans' wideouts in targets in all three seasons. Though the Titans brought in Harry Douglas and Dorial Green-Beckham this offseason, that's not enough to make me believe he wont repeat that feat in 2014.
Our projections have him catching five passes this week, the highest number for any receiver with a salary of $6,500 or less, and unless rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota crashes and burns in his NFL debut, Wright could easily exceed that projection.
Wright doesn't have massive upside, but his salary is low, he's against a weak pass defense, and he's going to see plenty of volume, which means he should have no problem returning value on FanDuel this week.
