Overlooked due to a lack of consistency in terms of top-tier quarterback performances -- despite finishing as the fifth-ranked fantasy quarterback in 2013 he had only 7 top-12 quarterback performances that season -- Andy Dalton might finally have the firepower he needs to put up elite performances on a weekly basis.

Surrounded by elite pass catching options in Pro Bowler A.J. Green, the ascending Tyler Eifert, touchdown maven Marvin Jones, and shifty third-down back Giovani Bernard, Dalton is off to a hot start in 2015.

After completing 16 of 26 passes this Sunday for 214 yards and 3 touchdowns against the Chargers -- good for a Passing NEP of 4.29 -- Dalton has averaged 269 yards, 2.5 touchdowns, and no interceptions for the Bengals in his first two games of the year.

And despite a number of tough matchups the next few weeks on paper against the Ravens, Chiefs, Seahawks, and Bills, each of these teams have also shown they can be beat through the air. The Ravens, Chiefs, and Bills surrendered at least 250 passing yards and 3 touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks in Week 2, and Seattle allowed 249 and 2 touchdowns on Sunday night.

If you're looking for a high-upside quarterback to lead your fantasy football squad, Dalton presents a nice high-upside foil to Tyrod Taylor's high floor option.
