If you're a Tony Romo owner reading this right now, then you know that he's out for the next eight weeks or so thanks to a broken clavicle suffered against the Eagles.

And you're probably looking for that waiver wire quarterback to fill that void at the top of your rosters. Well, lucky for you I may just have your man.

Like Tim Tebow a few seasons ago, on Sunday Tyrod Taylor showed why, given the right circumstances, someone doesn't necessarily have to be the best real life football player to be a great fantasy football option.

Playing from behind and against a New England defense looking to take advantage of his lack of experience in the pocket, Taylor connected on 23 out of his 30 throws for 242 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions.

Not bad, right?

But what makes Taylor truly special are the yards he can gain with his legs.

Despite a negative Passing NEP (meaning that he took real points off the board on his drop backs), Taylor still managed to put up 29.0 fantasy points in standard-scoring leagues thanks to an additional 43 yards on the ground and a rushing touchdown to pad his stats -- the equivalent of an additional 150 yards and a passing touchdown through the air.

While the Bills will look to play conservatively this season, relying on the defense and their talented backfield to win games, Taylor showed this week that he can also drive this team down the field to put points on the board when needed.

And while he's no Romo, with his 84 rushing yards in two games already, Taylor could be the 2015 version of the 2011 Tebow that finished the year as a top-10 fantasy quarterback in the second half of the season on the strength of his 660 yards and 6 touchdowns on the ground.
