The Patriots are massive favorites over the Jaguars this week, with the line currently sitting at 13.5 points. LeGarrette Blount made his return from suspension last week against the Bills but saw only two carries, while Dion Lewis shouldered most of the running back workload. The reason I'm not too concerned is because the Patriots tend to use their primary receiving back more heavily against teams with strong front-sevens, like the Bills.

Blount established himself as the Patriots' clear top back in 2014. His -0.02 Rushing NEP per carry ranked 19th among 43 backs to record at least 100 carries in 2014, and in his 8 games (playoffs included) with the Patriots last season he saw 10 or more touches 7 times.

You don't expect that a player sharing the field with Rob Gronkowski to have a lot of touchdown upside, but the Patriots use Blount a lot on the goal line. In that 8 game span last year, Blount ran the ball on 27% of New England's offensive snaps inside the 10-yard line.

Patriots have the highest Vegas projection this week at 30.5 points, and as huge favorites they should be playing with a big lead, and do a ton of damage on the ground this week. We can expect Blount to be the main benefactor, and have a huge game.
