10 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets Heading Into Week 7
Michael Floyd, WR, Arizona Cardinals

Michael Floyd doesn't have the most targets on for the Cardinals this season; that distinction goes to the resurgent Larry Fitzgerald with 54.
He also doesn't have the most yards on the team; the current lead is held by John Brown with 497 yards through five games.
But what Floyd does have is a defined role on the league's second-most efficient passing attack according to our NEP metrics.
And after an impressive day in which Floyd caught 5 of 8 targets for 50 yards and a touchdown against the Steelers -- and in which he just narrowly missed on a second long touchdown when he was unable to keep both feet inbounds -- the Cardinals wideout showed that such a role is definitely worth something for fantasy football managers this season.
While he may not be the most efficient wideout (his 0.48 Reception NEP per target ranks him near the bottom-half of the league) given veteran quarterback Carson Palmer's success in the passing game this year and a steady role in this offense, at the very least Floyd makes for a nice bye week fill-in with the upside that he could thrive as a top-option in the passing game should something happen to the two receivers currently ahead of him in the pecking order.
