5 NFL Teams That Need Wide Receiver Help Entering the Draft

Los Angeles Rams

Of course, the team touting Kenny Britt as their top wide receiver would logically have a huge need at the position. The Los Angeles Rams had the most anemic passing attack in the NFL in 2015, ranking dead last in Adjusted Passing NEP per play with -0.06. This was half as much value per drop back as the next-worst team, the Tennessee Titans.

Now, sure, we can blame a lot of the aerial impotence of the Rams on quarterbacks Nick Foles and Case Keenum, but facts are facts: this wide receiving corps was so bad that they had to sign Wes Welker off the street to round it out.

The non-Britt wide receivers combined for a paltry 0.31 Reception NEP per target on their 188 targets last year. The Rams desperately need to add receiving help for whichever quarterback they select at first overall in the NFL Draft.
