Desmond Ridder to make first career start for Falcons Week 15
Atlanta Falcons rookie quarterback Desmond Ridder will start in Week 15 against the New Orleans Saints, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
What It Means:
The Falcons have their bye this week, so Ridder will make his first start on December 18 in New Orleans. He was picked in the third round of this year's draft, but Ridder hasn't played any snaps for the Falcons during the regular season. Marcus Mariota will presumably be Ridder's backup moving forward.
numberFire's models project Ridder for 16.4 FanDuel points in his debut, with 229.3 passing yards, 1.25 touchdowns, and 0.7 interceptions, plus another 21.1 yards on the ground.
