Mike White (rib) officially out for Jets in Week 16
New York Jets quarterback Mike White (rib) has been ruled out for Week 16 against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night.
White will miss a second straight game as he deals with a rib injury. Zach Wilson will be under center again for the Jets on Thursday in a plus matchup, but White is expected to reclaim the starting job when he's available. His next chance to play will be in Week 17 versus the Seattle Seahawks.
Among the 40 quarterbacks with at least 100 drop backs this season, White is 12th and Wilson is 29th in Passing Net Expected Points per attempt. Only five teams allow more Expected Points Added per drop back than the Jaguars this season and only eight teams give up a higher rate of positive pass plays.
