O’Connell: Cam Akers not expected to play in Minnesota's Week 3 matchup
According to head coach Kevin O'Connell, Minnesota Vikings running back Cam Akers will " ikely be inactive" for Week 3's game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Akers is not expected to suit up for his new team after he was acquired for a pick swap earlier this week.
Expect Ty Chandler to play a backup role versus a Los Angeles' defense allowing 20.5 FanDuel points per game to running backs this season if Akers is inactive.
