Bills' Damien Harris (neck/concussion) idle for Wednesday walk-through
Buffalo Bills running back Damien Harris (neck/concussion) will not participate in Wednesday's walk-through.
Harris is in the NFL's concussion protocol and also reportedly dealing with a neck sprain. He was taken off the field in an ambulance during Sunday night's Week 6 win over the New York Giants, so the Bills and the league will likely take an extremely cautious approach with Harris' return. James Cook and Latavius Murray will share backfield work if Harris is ruled out for Week 7 versus the New England Patriots on Sunday.
Harris only played between 9-14 snaps and averaged 4.8 touches in his five healthy games this season. Cook rushed 14 times for 71 yards in Week 6 while Murray rushed 12 times for 45 yards. They logged 30 snaps each on offense and didn't draw a target. The Patriots are No. 19 in FanDuel points allowed per game to running backs, but their run defense is No. 6 based on numberFire’s opponent-adjusted NEP model.
