Cam Akers (ankle) won't return in Week 9 for Minnesota
Minnesota Vikings running back Cam Akers will not return Sunday in the team's Week 9 game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Akers seemed to have his leg twisted late in the third quarter of Sunday's contest. He ended up being carted to the locker room and was immediately ruled out for the rest of the afternoon. It'll be more of Ty Chandler behind Alexander Mattison.
Before exiting, Akers had 8 carries for 25 yards. He also caguht all 3 of his targets for 13 yards, finishing with 5.3 FanDuel points.
