Falcons' Taylor Heinicke (ankle) to test out ankle ahead of Week 18 game
The Atlanta Falcons are reportedly "hopeful" that quarterback Taylor Heinicke (ankle) will be able to play in their Week 18 game against the New Orleans Saints.
Heinicke was able to practice all week leading up to this afternoon's game, but the team will still test out his ankle during their pregame warmups before making an official decision about his availability. If he is not able to go, expect Desmond Ridder to make the start.
If he is able to suit up, our models project Heinicke for 14.3 fantasy points against the Saints, with 202 passing yards, 1.1 touchdowns, and 0.7 interceptions. He has a $6,900 salary on FanDuel.
