John Brown (leg) expected back for Arizona in Week 8
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver John Brown (leg) is expected to be back for Week 8, head coach Bruce Arians said.
Brown is facing a unique leg issue deriving from his sickle cell trait that caused him to miss Sunday night's tie against the Seattle Seahawks. Jaron Brown (ACL) is out for the year and Michael Floyd (hamstring) is banged up and inconsistent, so the Cardinals aren't going to ease Brown into things.
With nine games left on the Cardinals' schedule, our models project Brown to haul in 34 catches for 482 more yards and 2.70 touchdowns over the rest of the year.
