Latavius Murray expects to "be the guy" in Vikings backfield
Minnesota Vikings running back Latavius Murray said that he expects to "be the guy" in the Minnesota backfield this season.
In an appearance on Good Morning Football, Murray expanded on his thoughts, saying that this is his time. After missing the Vikings' offseason program, it's highly unlikely that Murray starts out the season ahead of rookie Dalvin Cook.
According to our algorithms, Murray -- with projections of 748 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns -- has the edge over Cook, who our algorithms like to produce more touchdowns (5) but just 627 yards on 25 less rushes.
