Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) out Week 7 for Broncos, possibly longer
Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders has been diagnosed with a sprained ankle and will miss at least Week 7 against the Los Angeles Chargers, reports Mike Klis of NBC Denver.
Sanders was able to avoid a fracture, but a possible high-ankle sprain could cost him possible games. With him out, Bennie Fowler could be in line for more targets behind Demaryius Thomas. Sanders was targeted zero times in Week 6 before being carted off the field.
Prior to Week 6, Sanders was averaging 10.3 FanDuel points across four contests this season, with 25 catches for 266 yards and 2 touchdowns on 42 targets.
