Broncos' Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) still sidelined on Thursday at practice
Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders did not practice Thursday, per 9News' Mike Klis.
Sanders was stretching on a side field so he was present at practice. However, he's nowhere near the point you'd like him to be if he's to suit up for Week 8. On the plus side, he does have an extra day to get ready as Denver plays Monday night against the Kansas City Chiefs. It's likely that Bennie Fowler would start beside Demaryius Thomas, who could be peppered with double-digit targets this week.
If he can get healthy enough to take the field, Sanders is projected for 2.6 catches, 32.7 yards and 0.17 touchdowns on 4.4 targets this week. At $6,600, you probably want to look for a more safe option, especially with the Broncos not playing until the last game of the week.
