Josh Donaldson: Boon or Bane?
I have no idea how to project Josh Donaldson for this year. On the one hand, his BABIP was hugely inflated and will regress. On the other, his plate discipline spiked last year which should make a semi-high OBP sustainable. What say y'all?

3Jason Paradise (500 Reputation Points)I think Donaldson puts up something like .280/.360/.450 with 20 hr's, 80 RBIs and Runs. His BABIP was .333, but that's about right considering he had a line drive rate over 20%. He's among the league leaders in line drive percentage so you can except that BABIP and Avg. to stay high. He's certainly a top 10 3B and may even be top 5 if he continues to improve

1JJ Zachariason (411 Reputation Points)I think he'll regress, at least from an AVG standpoint. Maybe down to .280ish? Still probably a top 10 3B.

0Eamonn Choukrane (665 Reputation Points)I think that we will definitely see a regression but i would still have him as one of my top 7. I think that the AVG will go down but the power will stay.

0Chris Kay (500 Reputation Points)He doesn't have enough at bats to really say whether or not his BABIP will drop enough to have his numbers drop that much. 4 of his 5 minor league seasons with the A's he has had a .300+ BABIP. Those numbers don't necessarily translate to the same kind of numbers in the MLB, but you have to think it might just be how his batted ball numbers work out.
