Fantasy Football: Redrafting the First Round After 4 Weeks
10. Mike Evans, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
While the Week 1 bye was unexpected and immediately put many teams in a bind, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans has been outstanding when on the field. In four games, Evans has recorded seven receptions or a touchdown three times and clearly remains Jameis Winston's go-to weapon.
The additions of DeSean Jackson, Chris Godwin, and O.J. Howard haven't impacted Winston's love for the 6'5" Evans, and his 40 targets is already one of the most in the league despite only playing four games. He's also scored both of his touchdowns in the red zone and remains the most popular Buccaneers weapon inside the 10-yard line.
While it was easy to assume that Evans would be unable to replicate his career-high 173 targets from 2016 considering all of the offensive additions, Winston just hasn't stopped looking his way. At 10 targets per game, Evans remains one of the highest volume receivers in the NFL.
Evans looks poised to match his 2016 totals, which led to him being the top-scoring receiver in fantasy football, and he remains well worth a first-round pick in all formats. Oh, and now you don't have to worry about any pesky bye weeks moving forward.
