DraftKings Daily Fantasy Football: Top Punt Plays for Week 8
Dwayne Bowe, WR, Kansas City Chiefs ($3,600)
Call me crazy, but I don’t mind Dwayne Bowe at all as a flier intournaments this weekend. I certainly wouldn’t play him in a cash game because of his generally low floor, but he’s still got some upside, especially against the St. Louis Rams who give up the third-most fantasy points to wide receivers.
Look, Bowe is still the most targeted player in Kansas City. He’s also put together at least 80 receiving yards in two out of the last three games. He hasn’t found the end zone yet this year, which means that he’s due.
His Reception NEP is almost triple that of the next best wide receiver in Kansas City, and he’s playing just better than Larry Fitzgerald according to the same metric.
Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith is averaging a healthy 31 pass attempts per game, and head coach Andy Reid loves to air the ball out. Believe it or not, I like Bowe’s chances to get in the end zone this week.
