The 10 Worst Quarterback Seasons Over the Last Decade
3. Andrew Walter, 2006
As a member of the Oakland Raiders in 2006, Andrew Walter has the dubious distinction of posting the worst Passing NEP on a per-attempt basis of all 290 quarterbacks in the last 10 years according to this study.
Similar to Sam Bradford in 2011, not only was Walter horribly inefficient as a passer, he was equally as bad as a rusher. His -17.04 Rushing NEP mark is the third-worst total by a 300-plus attempt quarterback in the last 10 years.
Although he comes in as third-worst in terms of Passing NEP, during the 2006 season, Walter accrued the worst Total NEP mark (-103.24) of the 290 quarterbacks in this study, and the fourth-worst mark of all 300+ quarterbacks since 2000.
Completing just 53.3 percent of his throws with 13 interceptions and just 3 touchdowns in 2006, Walter saw action in just three more games during the next two seasons before retiring from the league.
